Would you like to sell your artwork on BestSellingArt.co.uk?

At BestSellingArt.co.uk we have one very simple mission statement.

"To offer some of the Best Original Contemporary Art from some of the Best Selling UK Artists around today."

If you are interested in exhibiting and selling your artwork in our gallery then please read on!

We only offer space to proven artists that can say yes to the following:

• Your artwork is original and you have a proven track record of your art consistantly selling (Once established on our site you may be able to sell prints of your artwork also).
• You live in the UK.
• You regularly have 10 or more artworks finished and available for sale or previously sold work that you would like to sell on a 'Painted to Order' basis.
• You can package your sold art safely and professionally and dispatch it via an insured courier service within 3-5 working days of us notifying you of a sale for delivery to the customer within 5-7 working days.
• You are willing to dispatch your art Europewide (We offer free delivery to Mainland UK and charge an additional fee for remaining destinations - see here for more details regarding delivery).

If you feel you can offer all of the above then you may be exactly what we are looking for!

If you are still interested then please contact us with the following info.

• Your name
• A brief paragraph about yourself, how you work and previous success in selling your work etc…
• Which medium you use and on what surface, such as canvas
• Average price of your work
• Your website address if you have one, or simply send 3 or 4 images of your artwork

If successful, we will reply with the information you need to submit your work in full.

Commission rates

There is no fee for joining BestSellingArt - We only take a 25% commission from any sales you make, so there is no initial outlay and no risk for artists whatsoever.

How your artwork is managed

Once accepted onto our site you will receive detailed information regarding how to exhibit your artwork. Basically though, all that is required is for artists to send the descriptions and images of the work to be displayed, via email or CD to us and we do the rest!
We will manage all of your administration and uploading of your work for you, so you can concentrate on doing what you do best - creating your art!

As soon as you achieve a sale on our gallery we will email you to confirm the customers' details etc..., so that you can safely package your art and send via an insured courier service. All you need to do then is to email us back confirming the courier service, tracking number and expected delivery date.
If the sale is for a 'Painted to Order' item you will need to commit to have the painting complete, dry and ready for dispatch within 4 weeks.

When do you get paid?

Payment is made to artists 14 working days after the date of delivery. This allows cover for all long distance selling regulations and our 14 day return guarantee. As soon as this cooling period has passed we will send you your payment minus the 25% commission.
You have three payment options. You can be paid straight into your bank account, by Cheque or into your Paypal account. We will ask you your preferred payment method once accepted onto our gallery.

Your obligations to us

We want you to enjoy exhibiting your art with us and we hope to build a professional but friendly relationship with all our artists.
However, whilst your artwork is managed by us, there are some working practices you must be prepared to commit to in order to sell your work on our gallery.

• You must inform us via email if you sell any artwork that you have exhibited with us. We will then mark your artwork as 'Sold'. This is one of our most important requests, as we are striving to achieve great customer service and we do not want to display artwork for sale if it has sold elsewhere.

• The prices you charge for your work must be consistent with the prices you charge on other online galleries.

• All sold art must be packaged safely and dispatch via an insured trackable courier to reach the customer within 5-7 working days.

• Your descriptions must be accurate and images clear.

• Inform us if you are going away on holiday etc… We can then add a note to your gallery page, so that potential customers will be aware there may be a delay in delivery.
