Amanda Dagg

Amanda Dagg is a self-taught, self-representing artist living in Swansea Wales.

Amanda has always painted but it was not until becoming ill in 2005 that she revaluated her life and took her love of painting on a full time basis.

She works mainly with Acrylics; most of her pieces are textured. She paints Original Art, Abstract paintings, incorporating striking textures and high impact metallics. She loves painting poppies and other flowers into her modern contemporary artwork.

Amanda is passionate about art and channels her creativity by painting daily. Always brimming with new ideas she takes her talent in new directions. Each painting will take many days to complete, to allow the layers of texture to dry, so she normally works on a couple of pieces at a time, jumping from one to the other.

Amanda Dagg's Paintings are all Original paintings and are not prints. Each painting is hand painting with care using high quality paints and mediums. Each canvas is varnished to protect the colour and variations in room temperature.

The paintings come direct from the artist herself.
